Back in January we posted poet Anne Caston's wonderful photo essays from her recent trip to Alaska, where she's is a member of the core faculty in the University of Alaska's Low-Residency MFA Program in Creative Writing. Her dispatches drew raves and were among the most popular features on the site. We're pleased to report that Anne has now posted more of her "Alaska Diaries" over at Savannah Blues The photos reveal the strange beauty of "the far arctic," and her accompanying essays are written with a poet's care and an eye for the telling detail. Take a look.
