Daisy friedDaisy Fried
 is the author of three books of poetry, Women’s Poetry: Poems and Advice (2013), My Brother Is Getting Arrested Again (2006), a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, and She Didn’t Mean to Do It (2000), winner of the Agnes Lynch Starrett Poetry Prize. She has received Guggenheim, Hodder, and Pew Fellowships, a Pushcart Prize, and the Cohen Award from Ploughshares. Fried reviews poetry books for the New York Times, Poetry, and the Threepenny Review and was awarded Poetry magazine’s Editor’s Prize. She has taught creative writing at Bryn Mawr College and in Warren Wilson College’s low-residency MFA program. Fried lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.


Idra noveyIdra Novey 
is the author of Exit, Civilian, selected for the 2011 National Poetry Series by Patricia Smith, and The Next Country.  Her poems have been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered, in Poetry Magazine, Slate, and the Hairpin.  Her most recent translation is Clarice Lispector’s novel The Passion According to G.H. (New Directions, 2012). She teaches at NYU and in the Creative Writing Program at Princeton University.
