This week we welcome Rachel Shukert as our guest blogger. Rachel is the author of the memoir Everything Is Going To Be
Great (Harper Perennial, 2010). Her critically-acclaimed essay
collection, "Have You No Shame?" was published in 2008. Rachel is also a
performer and playwright, and has written for Salon, Slate, The Wall
Street Journal, the Daily Beast, and McSweeney's, among others, and has been
