It’s been a little while since we caught up with the former Mrs. Salman Rushdie, but that’s not because I haven’t been thinking about her. It’s just that following the world financial crisis takes up all my computer time. Well, that won’t last much longer. Soon everything will be fine and back to normal!
Meanwhile, here’s a clip of Padma visiting the Craig Ferguson talk show. I have no idea who Craig Ferguson is and he doesn’t seem very interesting. But this clip does include some footage from a movie in which Padma plays an Indian princess, and then she spends a long time bullshitting with the host. She seems to have some sort of oil on her skin. It’s not unusual for people from India to oil themselves up like this every day. Sometimes they also oil their hair, but Padma’s hair seems pretty dry. Individuals who are of the Ayurvedic category called "kapha" tend to be naturally oily, but I suspect Padma is a relatively dry "vata" type, so she may have to buy her oil at Whole Foods.
