This week we welcome back Gabrielle Calvocoressi as our guest author. Gabrielle is the author of The Last Time I Saw Amelia Earhart (Persea) and Apocalyptic Swing, which was a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. She has been the recipient of numerous awards and fellowships including a Stegner Fellowship and Jones Lectureship from Stanford University, a Rona Jaffe Woman Writer's Award, The Paris Review's Bernard F. Conner's Prize and residencies from The Civitella di Ranieri Foundation and the Lannan Foundation in Marfa, TX. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The New York Times, Boston Review and POETRY, and elsewhere. She is the Senior Poetry Editor at Los Angeles Review of Books and is an Assistant Professor/Walker Percy Fellow at UNC Chapel Hill. She lives in Carrboro, NC. She tweets at @rocketfantastic .
