This week we welcome Alexandra Zelman-Doring as our guest author. Alexandra is co-founder of Throes Theater
(www.throestheater.com). She is the 2008 first-prize winner of the Glascock
Poetry Prize. She studied at Brown
University, Wadham College, Oxford, and holds a MFA from Columbia University’s
Program in Poetry. Her poems have been set to music by composers such as Andile
Khumalo, Jiří Kadeřábek, and David Adamcyk.
She is the author of numerous plays including “Light in the Dust," “To Hold an Apple,” and “Act Before You Speak.”
