This week we welcome Eleanor Goodman as our guest blogger. We had the good fortune to meet Eleanor during our travels in China a couple of years ago. At the time, she was living in Beijing and in the midst of one of her many translation projects. Since then, she's posted here several times. Now back in the US, Eleanor writes fiction, poetry, and essays, and translates from
Chinese. Her work has appeared widely in journals such as PN Review, Los
Angeles Review, Fiction, Pleiades, New Delta Review, Perihelion, The
Pedestal Magazine, and The Guardian. She is currently working on a
novel.
