This week we welcome Lewis Saul as our guest blogger. Lewis is a composer who lives in Tucson, AZ. He studied composition at Juilliard and with Nadia Boulanger in Paris. You can read his posts about the films of Kurosawa here. Lewis spent the past year composing a work for his daughter and her
intended entitled MIDRASHIM — a 10-movement work for violin and
marimba. Four of the ten movements can be seen and heard in a rough
run-through here.
